We have gathered everything people usually ask before hiring. If something is missing, just ask us, with no obligation.
Do I need a special licence to drive it?
No. A standard category B car licence is enough, because the vehicle does not exceed 3,500 kg maximum authorised mass. If your licence was issued outside the European Union you may also need an International Driving Permit, so please check with us before booking.
Is it difficult to drive?
Less than you would think. It drives like a large van: what changes is the height and the length, so you need to keep the clearance in mind at underground car parks and take roundabouts a little wider. On handover day we go through all of this with the vehicle in front of you.
What is the minimum age?
Twenty-five, with at least two years holding the licence. We check both at handover, so bring the original with you.
How much is the deposit?
The security deposit is €1,000. It is taken at handover and returned at the end of the hire, provided the vehicle comes back in the condition it left in. We confirm the payment method in writing before you book.
Is mileage included?
Yes, with no meter running: mileage is unlimited. Plan whatever route you like without counting kilometres or picking up an extra charge on your return.
How much does it cost?
From €140 a night in low season to €240 in August, VAT included and mileage unlimited. The full table is in the prices section. Send us your dates and we will confirm the total, with no obligation.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Just tell us when you book, and allow for a cleaning supplement of €50 per hire.
Where can I legally sleep in Spain?
Spanish law distinguishes between parking and camping. You may sleep inside the vehicle anywhere parking is allowed, provided you do not occupy any space beyond your bay: no table, chairs, awning or levelling legs outside. That counts as camping, and it is only permitted at campsites and designated motorhome areas. There are also local council rules and natural parks with their own restrictions, especially along the coast in summer.
Can you meet me at Málaga airport?
Yes, and it is the most common arrangement for people flying in. Give us your flight number and arrival time when you book and we will coordinate the handover. If your flight is delayed, let us know and we will adjust.
Can I take the motorhome out of Spain?
Yes. We authorise travel throughout Europe. Tell us which countries you plan to drive through when you book and we will set it out in the contract, together with the scope of the insurance and the roadside assistance.
What if I break down during the trip?
The vehicle comes with roadside assistance. Call us as soon as anything happens: first that you are all safe, then sorting the problem. We keep a contact number available throughout your hire.
What is the minimum number of nights?
It depends on the season: three nights in low and mid season, five over public holidays, seven in high season and ten from 1 to 23 August. The rates table sets it out season by season.
